a vestige of thought...

It's always horrible. I have never seen a fan fiction story that did not make me want to puke. I think there are a few benefits, though. The few that I have bothered to skim over have made me appreciate the skill of TV screenwriters. There are reasons that the "perfect couple" don't get together when the audience decides they should. Among other things, what one writer views as the perfect way for people to get together often seems exceedingly cheesy to others. If it never quite happens, everyone can imagine it how they want and though no one is completely content, they are all happy. Yay.

I'm feeling grumpy. Must... hold... out!
